Tubing pump

Sucker-rod deep-well pump for oil production

Tubing pump

Description

The tubing-type sucker-rod deep-well pump is intended for artificial lift oil production and is installed as part of the tubing string. The pump cylinder is run together with tubing, forming an integrated assembly that provides higher system rigidity and better load resistance during operation.

Technical specifications

Parameter Value
Nominal pump diameter, mm 27-70
Plunger stroke length, mm 3800-6100
Flow rate (at S=3 m, n=4 strokes/min), m3/day up to 200
Maximum running depth, m up to 1500
Operating pressure, MPa up to 10
Pumped fluid temperature, °C up to +130
Warranty service life, months 12

Installation layout and operating principle

The pump consists of a cylinder and a plunger with valves. During the upstroke, suction is created and intake valves open, allowing fluid into the cylinder. During the downstroke, valves close and fluid is displaced into the lift tubing. The pump is installed directly in the tubing string. Unlike insert pumps, it has no anchor lock and is retrieved together with tubing during major well workover.
